THE PIANO RECORD TRILOGY:

once upon a time in a land too far away to annoy
there lived a one eyed boy with a piano for a toy.
but the black keys in polly wolly doodle made the boy mad
and so he would never practice it and the piano got sad.
his mom thought it would be nice to paint the piano twice
much like an antique, white and gold, to be precise.
this did not help the boy to be persuaded to play
instead he ran to the river and the train to play.
some days the river tried to swallow this boy whole
but he was always able to escape, thank his lucky soul.
trains tried to shove him off the bridge more then one time
but he managed to save himself always in the nick of time.
the river would not have it and had a talk with the wind,
they conspired to find his home and invite themselves in.
but the boy escaped even that, though his piano it did not,
and ended up there all splintered in the stinky muddy rot.
the boy vowed then and there that once again he would play,
got another one with flood relocation money they gave away.
but no band would have him, thought his ear was made of tin
he left it all for the desert, and so again he could begin.
it made sense out there, minimal songs in a minimal place
the wind and sand adorning the inspiration of empty space.
eventually this boy would grow to record a piano trilogy,
so spun some piano is here now till he records 1 more then 3
