at breakfast i noticed my interview in the local weekly.
it says i say “i record the way painters paint all the time” and then i wonder what the effect or coincidence had been on all the painting we have seen here.
we attempt to fix the magic blue pedal and it eats up the day magically. then we leave too late to get to des moines on time for sound check.

to begin with, the set should begin with just me solo, then adding peter on drums for the next song, then thøger on bass for the 3rd song, and anders after that on slide for the 4th. a guerilla tactical maneuver to problem solve the late arrival. but we get there 7 minutes before our allotted sound check time has eroded. we hit the stage like monkeys in guerilla mode. forget the piano tonight, just play it lean, and lean on that magic blue pedal for causing such delay, and not the delay pedal for causing such blue magic.
that night we played the best set of our lives.
